About
Hi, my name is Carl Hain and I am a web developer living in the
Chicago suburbs. After many years working in marketing research and
competitive intelligence for a large commercial insurance company, I
decided to switch careers. I have always been passionate about
technology and the web, and I have been a hobbyist programmer for
many years; so the choice was obvious. I am especially excited by
the MERN stack, which includes MongoDB, Express, React, and Node. I
am also passionate about the new education opportunities that the
web brings and would not have been able to do this without the help
of Codecademy, Udacity, FreeCodeCamp, and so many other resources.
